Fun quotes and facts about Bear Grylls
Zapping through the channels and suddenly finding Bear Grylls is like driving on a road and seeing a traffic accident. You don't want to look because you are afraid of the horrible things you might see, but somehow it mesmerizes you and you just can't take your eyes away. No matter how disgusting it is.
He always have to go the most dangerous place, with the most dangerous animals and do the most dangerous things that would kill a normal person for sure. And everytime he says; "But I am going to do something even more dangerous than that!" Argh...
But I have to admit that he have some great quotes sometimes.

Photo of the Day - Landing on Sint Maarten
Incoming airplanes approach the island of Sint Maarten/St Martin on short final for Runway 10, following a 3° glide slope flying low over the famous Maho Beach. Pictures of low flying aircraft were published in several news magazines worldwide in early 2000. The thrilling approaches and ease of access for shooting spectacular images, made the airport one of the world's favorite places among planespotters.
Twitter joke trial ends in conviction for Paul Chambers
A 26-year-old man has been fined £1,000 after being found guilty of threatening to blow up Robin Hood airport on Twitter.
Paul Chambers held the unfortunate distinction of becoming the first person to be prosecuted in connection with remarks made on the social networking site when he expressed his frustration at heavy snowfall in January this year.

What if your website was a country?
What if your website was a country? Would it be smaller than the Vatican City or larger than United States?
What if all of your visitors gathered in one place? Would they fill a local pub or would you need a stadium with 100,000 seats?
All these questions are answered by Sharenator Webempires. A fun way of visualizing the size of websites.
My blog is smaller than the Vatican City, so I guess its time to go out and concure the world!
If Randomising.blogspot.com were a country, it would smaller than the Vatican City.

How about breaking the surfing world record?
South African surfers broke the Guinness World Record for the most surfers riding one wave simultaneously at Muizenberg Corner, Cape Town, South Africa, 04 October 2009. The new world record - 105 people surfing one wave simultaneously.
If all of randomising.blogspot.com visitors gathered in one place, you could try and break this record.

Poem of the Day: Jose Rizal - Mi último adiós
"Mi último adiós" (Spanish for "My Last Farewell") is a poem written by Philippine national hero José Rizal on the eve of his execution on December 30, 1896. Although the poem was untitled, this title served as an artifice useful as a quick reference.
This poem was one of the last notes he wrote before his execution. Another that he had written before his death was found in his shoe but because the text could not be read it remains a mystery.
Photo of the Day - Isla de Mouro
La Isla de Mouro is a Spanish island located off the coast of Peninsula de la Magdalena, at the mouth of the Bay of Santander, in Cantabria. It is very remarkable, even though its territory is only 1.7 hectares. Entirely rocky and fairly flat, with a lighthouse on one of its upper reaches. It is well known by divers for the rich grounds around the island.
In July 1812 during the War of Independence, the English, Spanish allies, captured the island, where withering fire brought down the coastal defenses of the Magdalena Peninsula, taken by the French, and managed to eject them.

Sunrise walk
Took the morning walk in Maspalomas while the sun was rising today. No wind, no sand, no clouds. A perfect day!
Back home the wind is starting to pick up again, and you can see the sand in the air.
No no no! I don't want to have more wind and sand!

i-Cat
Me like! Me want!
"Meet I-CAT! This cool kitty puts on quite a performance as she sinks her claws into your favorite music! This feline is fond of rock, punk, rap, hip-hop, dance, techno, and more! Pay this kitten some attention, and she taps into her own cat-alog of riffs, melodies, tunes, and beats.
Stroke her head to keep her happy! Watch I-CAT purr (depending on the kind of music you play), monitor her moods with her musical mewing, and watch her purr-form just for you! I-CAT works with most portable and non-portable electronic audio devices.
Plus, she easily connects to any standard headphone jack with the included dual-plug cable."

Windy sandstorm
The house is full of sand and its 30 degrees outside. But worst of all is that the calima will continue until Sunday!
On the positive side: It's at these times you can finally use the words "What would Bear Grylls have done?!?"

And isn't it ironic...
We made our own little awning-kind-of-thingy over the balcony a while ago, but it fell down during the windy sandstorm in July. This weekend we finally got it back up again.
But what happened today? Another windy sandstorm came, and the awning-kind-of-thingy down it fell...
What goes up - must come down, they say. But it could have lasted a few more days!

All work and no play
All work and no play makes the random ramblings incredibly boring. The funny thing is that it seems like the more I work, the less I earn. Maybe I should stop working and become a millionaire?!? Hah, that would be something...
Lately I've been watching a new tv-show; How To Make It In America, and I've got the theme song on my brain. Could have been the theme song of my life anyway...
